Durability

Our experts believe that durability is the hallmark of quality sail blinds. As such, InShade ensure that all fabric is batch tested and conforms to British standards before use.

Materials are tested to BS 5867-1 2004: Textiles and textile products, curtains and drapes. These standards ensure the fabric adheres to requirements of colour fastness to light, colour fastness to washing, and dimensional stability to washing. We also ensure that our ISX-FR fabric, made from Trevira CS polyester and used in commercial applications, is tested to UK standards for fire retardency.

InShade conservatory sail blinds are made from a special three dimensional, double faced, knitted fabric manufactured in the UK from 100% premium grade polyester. The fabric is given a memory during finishing which eliminates the need for elastane and produces a unique long-lasting, heat and UV resistant, bi-directional stretch fabric.
