Larger multipoint sails proved the most cost-effective solutions. The style is minimal and simple and the effect is similar to traditional pleated roof blinds but still retains most of the benefits of sail blinds.
Point to point designs provide around 65% coverage which is sufficient to control heat in most conservatories. A simple symmetrical design works best and this option maintains a bright open feel and makes the most of the view from your glass roof
The ultimate sail blind solutions use multiple sails to create a stunning feature in a single colour or with bold accent sails. Lots of small gaps allows shafts of sunlight to dapple your space.
With shade sails you can provide protection form the worst effects of heat and glare without covering your full roof. These solutions are most effective with a glass roof and a roof vent for optimum ventilation.
A single sail creates an elegant attractive feature, and works well in both neutral and bold colours. Can be simple and symmetrical (as shown) or an extravagant wild and wonderful unique shape.
Here at InShade, we make the process of design, supply and installation a simple one. Thanks to our in-house team of designers, and also our reliable network of local suppliers, we make every stage efficient and tailored to your needs. Below, we’ve described the main steps of the InShade process.
Chat to a designer at InShade and discuss how you want to use your space. Our designers will suggest solutions that will best suit your requirements and offer the benefits you’re searching for.
Once you’re happy with the budget, one of our local resellers will arrange a home visit to measure your space and offer advice.
Our InShade designer will build an accurate 3D model of your space. Considering your budget, our designer will use their skills and experience to develop a concept design that suits your specifications.
Your local supplier will then send you a PDF with your completed design and a quote.
Finally, if there is anything you would like to change, we will arrange an online design consultation – this enables you to view your model on the PC and make instant changes, all under the guidance of our designer.
Your local supplier will conduct a detailed sail blinds survey, measuring the exact position of your sails to ensure a perfect fit.
Manufacturing will take place in Stirling, Scotland. Dimensions will be determined by a computer, and sails will be cut by laser and finished by hand. This is usually completed within 2 weeks as standard, or within 1 week using our express service.
Installation by your local supplier. Relax and enjoy your new sail blinds.
